Argentines love to shop. You will find the latest fashion in all of the shopping malls here and of course at a price lower than what you'll find in the U.S. or Europe. Below, you'll see the best malls within the city.
Abasto - For nearly 100 years Abasto was the central market in Buenos Aires for fresh fruits and Vegetables. It is located in the neighborhood where Carlos Gardel, the famous tango singer lived. Today, it is still an amazing structure and boasts over 230 brands. After shopping you can see all of the small tango shops
Alto Palermo - Take the linea D to Alto Palermo (Bulnes) and experience the upper crest of Buenos Aires. Here you'll find all internationally known brands and the shoppers come dressed to the T.
Patio Bulrich - Located in Recoleta, you can take time to catch a movie or muse through a variety of stores.
Paseo Alcorta - Have lunch overlooking the Rio de la Plata at Paseo Alcorta. This is a relatively new mall and while smaller than others, has all of the brands and styles you are looking for.
If you want to get outside of the city, look into a trip to Unicenter, Argentina's largest Mall.

Located on Avenida Cordoba from 4500 - 3700 this stretch of avenue holds a high concentration of national and international brands. Take an afternoon to hop from one store to the next and you'll find items priced lower than in the malls.
